What is Saju?
Draft — page expanding
Saju (四柱, “Four Pillars”), also Saju Palja (四柱八字, “Four Pillars Eight Characters”), is the Korean name for the Bazi Four Pillars of Destiny. It is not a separate engine — it is the same 子平 (Zi Ping) tradition transmitted from China into Korea, read in the Korean term skin. A Saju chart is built from date, time, and place of birth into eight characters: four Heavenly Stems over four Earthly Branches, one pair each for the Year, Month, Day, and Hour pillars. The Day Master, the Ten Gods, the Five Phases, the 60-term Jussim cycle, and the Dayun/Liunian time axis are the same structures as Bazi; the Korean voice names them 일간, 십신, 오행, 육십갑자, and 대운/세운. The consultation tradition is the 명리학 (“name-learning”). The Year Branch carries the Korean zodiac animal, the 띠. In Divination Nexus Saju is the Korean reading voice over the shared Four-Pillars engine — the same chart, the same structure, spoken in the Korean idiom.

What job does it do?
Chart, Today. Epistemic badge: constitutional.
What is traditional, and what is our interpretive layer?
Traditional: the eight-character cast, the Day Master, the Ten Gods, the Five Phases, the 60-term Jussim cycle, and the Dayun/Liunian time axis — the same classical structure as Bazi, in its Korean transmission. Interpretive: Divination Nexus’s mapping of Saju onto the 12 Inner Alignment Dimensions, its Korean-voice daily-reading workflow, and its non-dooming clash frame are the CelestialNexus layer, not traditional Korean claims.
Traditional mechanic, tables, and named sources live in the vault file Celestial-Saju.md.
What is it not?
It is not a tropical Western natal wheel. It is not a fake cast from a date unless the engine is honestly computational. Harm-capable historic verdicts are documented, not performed.
